Oval Cut Blue Sapphire 1.22ct

An oval draws the eye down the finger rather than across it, which is why it flatters most hands. This is a blue sapphire at 1.22 carats, hand dug on the Queensland gemfields and cut in our own workshop. Sapphire is 9 on the Mohs scale, so it will take daily wear without complaint. One stone, cut once, never repeated.
