1. Intellectual property and ownership of content

All content on this Site — including all photographs, gemstone and jewellery images, the AI-generated ring visualisations produced by the Design Your Ring tool, illustrations, logos, text, page design and the arrangement of it — is owned by or licensed to Aussie Gem Hunter and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, download, scrape, republish, distribute, sell, or use any of this content for any commercial purpose, or to train or feed any automated system or dataset, without our prior written permission. You may view and share individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use only.

Unauthorised copying or scraping of Site content — including the ring images — is a breach of these Terms and may infringe our copyright. We reserve all rights and may pursue takedown and legal remedies.

2. The Design Your Ring tool — illustrations only

The Design Your Ring tool lets you combine settings, metals, stones and shapes to generate a visual concept image of a possible ring.

These images are computer-generated illustrations for inspiration only. By using the Design Your Ring tool you acknowledge and agree that:

·       the image is indicative and illustrative only and does not represent a specific item of stock or an actual finished product;

·       any ring you commission or purchase is handmade to order and its final appearance — including the exact colour, tone, zoning, size, proportions, cut, setting detail, metal finish and the individual natural stone — will differ from, and will not exactly match, the generated image;

·       natural gemstones are unique; colour and character vary stone to stone and can appear different under different lighting and on screen versus in person;

·       no image generated by the tool is an offer, a quote, or a guarantee of availability, price, or outcome. Pricing and availability are confirmed only in a written quote from us.

Requesting a design through the tool starts an enquiry; it is not an order and creates no obligation on either party until a written order and quote are agreed.

3. Purchases, custom orders and quotes

Prices for loose stones and finished pieces are shown on the Site or provided by written quote. Custom and bespoke pieces are made to order. Timeframes are estimates. Our order, payment, deposit, returns and warranty terms for a specific piece are those provided with your quote or order confirmation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully; interfere with or disrupt the Site; attempt to gain unauthorised access; use bots, scrapers or automated tools to harvest content or data; or submit false, spam, or misleading information through our forms.

5. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites (e.g. our YouTube channel). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The Site and the Design Your Ring tool are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from use of the Site or reliance on any generated image. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.

Pricing & GST

All prices on this website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST. Aussie Gem Hunter Pty Ltd (ABN 42 684 456 915) is registered for GST. For orders shipped within Australia, GST of 10% is calculated and added at checkout on the price of goods and on shipping; the total payable including GST is shown before you complete your purchase, and a tax invoice showing the GST and our ABN is issued for every order. Orders shipped outside Australia are GST-free and no Australian GST is added. Any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
