Parti Sapphires

Queensland is the world's main commercial source of parti sapphire — a single crystal carrying more than one colour at once, usually blue, green and gold together. The colours are a record of how the crystal grew, which is why no two are ever alike and why a matching pair cannot be ordered. Every one here was dug by hand around Rubyvale and cut on our own wheel.
